Eco-Writing Competition, Walk'n Talk, 2005:

A winding route, going up the hills and down the valley, led the farmers from Yuen Long to the market and brought them home – those were the old days!

Yet the old route is still there, the sky is still blue and the little stream is whispering stories and humming songs. The picturesque woods are still houses of little birds. The gentle breeze passes the old temple and keeps telling some old stories, stories that weave the past and the present.

Can you help the breeze to write these stories -- stories about the place, nature, history and people – as an essay or a poem?

Send your essay or poem, with your personal details to i-Learner to win a prize and to share with the public.
